Tim Blower Starts New Firm of
Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys,
IP-Active.com

After 9 years, Tim Blower leaves a Midlands based firm of patent and trade mark attorneys to start his own firm, IP-Active.com, on 8 September 2009.

IP-Active.com will offer a full range of intellectual property (IP) services, including the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent, trade mark and design applications; patent, trade mark and design searching; renewals; and advising with regard to threats and infringement.

IP-Active.com will be based in two locations in the West Midlands:

• Birmingham - at Birmingham Science Park Aston
• Coventry - at The TechnoCentre, Coventry University Technology Park

Exciting New Direction

"I'm excited at the prospect of working in the West Midlands. There's a well developed infrastructure in place to help new startups which benefits both me and my clients. There's a real buzz at both the Birmingham Science Park Aston and the TechnoCentre at Coventry. I'm looking forward to being part of it."

Tim was born in Coventry, went to Imperial College, London and lives in Derbyshire near Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak District. He has strong links with the West Midlands, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester.
